Data as a Service — Journey Time Data (DaaS — JTD)

On 21.12.2018 TfL published a PIN (Ref: 2018/S 248-573371) that sought expressions of interest and information from parties with regards to its proposed procurement for a Data as a Service — Journey Time Data (DaaS — JTD) service. TfL has assessed information from the market and has now finalised its plan for the procurement process.TfL is issuing this PIN to update and inform the market of its intention to publish a contract notice using the open procedure. The procurement process will seek competitive tenders from the market with the aim of awarding a contract to a single service provider to implement and deliver the DaaS — JTD service.DaaS — JTD is part of the TfL Data Roadmap project that forms part of the Surface intelligent transport system (SITS) programme. The Data Roadmap project aims to enhance TfLs understanding of the movement of road network users in a cost effective way through data and analytics.Further detail is provided at Section II.2.4) below.
