ESB proposes to establish a Qualification System under a negotiated procedure for the design and build delivery of Major HV Cable Projects of various specifications and scopes over an indefinite duration under the following two categories:• Category 01 – 110 kV and 220 kV underground cable projects – See Part B Appendix 6 for the minimum service requirements for 110 kV and 220 kV cables at the time of issue of the QSQ.• Category 02 – 400 kV underground cable projects - See Part B Appendix 6 for the minimum service requirements for 400 kV cable at the time of issue of the QSQ.It is proposed that the scope for each of the two categories under this Qualification System and/or any subsequent Contracts may include but is not limited to the design and construction works as stated in Section A – 'Information Memorandum' - Part 4 -'The Qualification System Scope'.While applications may be made to join the Qualification System at any time, those interested in being considered for the Initial Qualification System (The "First Procurement") under the Qualification System (Design and Build of Major HV Cable Projects) must submit completed QSQ responses appropriate to the categories for which they wish to apply on or before the closing date as stated on eTenders.
