The Information Services (IS) department in Powys County Council (the Council) and Powys Teaching Health Board (PTHB) manage the provision of new ICT equipment and the refresh of existing ICT devices over 114 sites and 50 sites respectively.The refresh programme required laptops to be replaced every five years and desktops to be replaced every six years and devices supplied are in line with the minimum specifications of both the Council and PTHB.The ‘Deliver to Desktop’ service will be to provide and install a device, which is configured remotely via SCCM, direct to a user’s desk. The service is to be largely provided within the county of Powys although some sites are outside of the county.There will also be a requirement to provide additional ICT equipment on an ad-hoc basis.
