Delivery of Environmental Technologies up-skilling for Building Services Engineers

The purpose of the pilot project is to develop the capacity of the supply side facilities in Wales for the Building Services Engineering Sector to ensure we deliver a competent qualified workforce for Environmental Technologies. The purpose of the pilot project is to influence and inform future Welsh Assembly Government policy and supply side delivery for Environmental Technologies which are part of the SummitSkills sector footprint. The pilot project will deliver a quality assured and accessible Environmental Technologies training for Employers across Wales. Please note no subcontracting is allowed as part of this tender. The Scope of the Contract is to ensure that employers have access to training across Wales the following contractual Lot quantities are available to tender. The contractual Lot quantities are expressed as the number of training places to be funded or part-funded, subject to employer contribution where applicable in each specific region of Wales. ConstructionSkills are happy to accept bids from partnerships. The contractual Lots for the Environmental Technologies are:Guideline Quantity (actual numbers may vary slightly:•Lot 1 – North West Wales = 40•Lot 2 – North East Wales = 50•Lot 3 - South West Wales = 80•Lot 4 – South East Wales = 80•Lot 5 - South East Wales = 80We are looking to award one contractual Lot to one supplier. Timescales:• Any party interested in this should request the documents by e-mail to gwyneth.thorneywork@cskills.org by 12:00 noon on the 8th March 2011. All parties who have formally lodged an interest in the tender will be provided with a copy of all questions asked in relation to the procurement exercise.•By 12.00 noon on March 9th 2011 all interested parties must confirm by email to gwyneth.thorneywork@cskills.org that it is their intention to submit a tender.•2 hard copies of this completed document and accompanying spreadsheet must be clearly marked “Tender B10/238/12” and submitted to Gwyneth Thorneywork, Legal Department, ConstructionSkills, Bircham Newton, Kings Lynn, Norfolk. PE31 6RH by 12:00 noon on March 11th 2011.
