Delivery of Support, Skills Development and Training Opportunities for People in the Community

Kent County Council are looking to commission providers to deliver support, skillsdevelopment, and training opportunities for people in the community. Currently this isdelivered through SS15087: Community Day Opportunities for Individuals with Disabilitiescontract which is due to end on 30 September 2022.The planned new arrangements will be more flexible for example in terms of units andmethods of delivery following learning from the pandemic and will evolve over the life of thecontract. There will be a focus upon making a positive difference for the people we supportevery day, ensuring that they live as full and safe a life as possible and make informedchoices. It is expected that the opportunity including all associated documentation will bepublished on the 30th of May 2022, with a start date for the new contractual arrangementsof the 1st of October 2022.The Prior information notice (PIN) is however, issued solely for the purpose of notifying themarket of the intention to procure these services.Interested parties will not be prejudiced or advantaged by any response or lack thereof tohe PIN and a response to this PIN does not guarantee any invitation to participate in anyfuture procurement.This PIN does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services for the Council.
