Tidal Energy Limited (TEL) is a privately owned technology development company exclusively developing an innovative tidal stream generator, known as DeltaStream. TEL has identified a demonstration test site at Ramsey Sound, Pembrokeshire and is in the process of obtaining the necessary consent licences to install the prototype device for a 12 month test period in 2011.TEL operates a relatively small management team and employs external contractors to provide specialist services to the project. Under this contract TEL requires the services of an experienced public relations consultant to support the installation of the 1.2MW prototype DeltaStream tidal energy generator (www.tidalenergyltd.com). Particular services required include the following activities:•Liaison with media and press •Preparation of press releases •Preparation of public exhibition material •Support at public consultation events, exhibitions, conferences etc.•Design and management of website•Arrangement of consultations and communication activities •Reporting and analysis
