Dementia Care Pathway Gap Analysis - Market engagement workshop
Descriptions
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) on behalf of the Regional Dementia partnership Board, hereby invites suitably qualified service providers to attend Market Engagement events. The events are designed to enable discussions to take place between the Partnership Board members and providers in order to aid the development of the dementia care pathway and services for the Gwent Area. Separate Market Engagement events will take place on 13th, 14th, 15th, 18th and 19th February 2019. Please note the aim of this notice is to invite providers to a market engagement exercise and is not a call for competition.Description of the market engagement event:ABUHB on behalf of the Greater Gwent Regional Partnership Board hereby invites suitably qualified service providers to attend a Market Engagement event which will inform the market of the Board’s intentions to reconfigure Dementia Care Services across Gwent, supporting the implementation of the All Wales Dementia Action Plan. Wales has a clear vision to be a dementia friendly nation that recognises the rights of people with dementia to feel valued and to live as independently as possible in their communities. Within Gwent, a great deal of work has been underway to understand what good looks like and how this work may be taken forward. The development of a local strategy is also underway to address specific Gwent wide actions to ensure an equitable service provision and care pathway is available across the region. Within Gwent, there are five localities; Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen with significantly varied patient demographics, and it is recognised that service provision varies across these localities. The events which will be held across the five aforementioned localities will offer a further opportunity to engage with stakeholders and for incumbent and prospective service providers to learn more about the services and future direction of travel. There is an opportunity for service providers to articulate how they believe they can add value to support the development of the care pathway, and to what extent can enable more effective integration with other parts of the system. To register interest in attending the engagement event please contact Maninder Singh Dulku on maninder.dulku@attain.co.uk. The relevant Documentation including a Request for Information (RFI) will then be issued. Due to limitations of space, attendance is restricted to a maximum of 3 representatives per organisation. The closing date for registering attendance and submitting relevant documentation is 12pm on 7th February 2019. There will be a generic session (early am) for all stakeholders followed by individual sessions (pm) with providers.
