Denbighshire County Council Community Support Services Meet the Buyer Event

Following the Market sounding exercise Denbighshire County Council held in July 2016, we are now holding a Meet the Buyers event for organisations who are interested in securing a 25 year lease of Hafan Deg, Rhyl, and in continuing to provide the existing day care service whilst developing a more robust and innovative service for the surrounding community.The Meet the Buyer day will take place on:Date: 21st December 2017Time: 2:00pmVenue: Hafan Deg Day Centre, Grange Road, Rhyl, LL18 4BSWho can attend?This event is open to any organisation that has an interest in or is already involved in delivering services to adults in Denbighshire.What will it involve?The event will include a presentation by the Council on the proposal which will include timescales for the tender, as well as an overview on the future day care strategy.There will be an opportunity to have a full tour of the building and a question and answer session will be held at the end.This event will enable opportunities to network with other participants and Council OfficersThe aim of the event is to:Understand what issues/challenges current or potential suppliers may have with the proposal, and in other similar situationsImprove providers’ understanding of the Council’s vision, the drivers behind it and the outcomes to be achieved for this proposalUnderstand the importance of the Welsh Language within the service provisionRegistration ProcessTo attend the event please confirm your attendance by emailing Emily.jones-davies@denbighshire.gov.uk by the 18th December 2017.Please note that space is limited, so would ask that you send a maximum of two (2) delegates per organisation.
