The project is to design and build a water control system, by modification to the existing sluice at Newport Wetlands National Nature Reserve (NNR)specificially at Reedbed 11, (marked R11 on the attached Reedbed sluice location map) that was created to store pulverised fuel ash (PFA) from the nearby power station, but it was never filled and has long since grown over with vegetation and is partially filled with rainwater.See attached docs for full details.
