Descriptions
•To establish a framework agreement with several operators, maximum number of participants to the framework agreement envisaged is 12.•Objective to complete WHQS works to include the repair/renewal/creation as appropriate of boundary fences, walls, retaining structures, gates, pathways , steps and handrails, ramps, garden safety, trees, hedges and car parking. •To meet WHQS in terms of external works to properties as far as is achievableThe contract will be split up into 2 lots which will reduce the value of the contract on a pro rata basis•Lot 1: Fencing; Gates; Soft Landscaping.•Lot 2: Hard Landscaping: Masonry; Concreting; Tarmacing; Paving. The work will be awarded using mini-competitions to the successful Providers within each Lot.• Contractors should be able to demonstrate how they can make a contribution to the local economy and support Community Involvement• There is a possibility these works may interface with other internal improvement works. The programme will have to be carefully prepared in consultation with other teams, Project Managers and appointed contractor and sub-contractors.Estimated Value of works £3,000,000.The Framework contract has the option to extend for up to a further 12 months.
