Design and build commission for ‘telescopes’ element of interpretation at the Centre of Coastal Excellence in Henfaes, Aberdaron.As part of the overall interpretive scheme for the new Visitor Centre in Aberdaron, the National Trust is commissioning a series of installations on the theme of ‘telescopes’ that will house a range of multi-media elements and technologies. The purpose of these installations is to present a varied and disparate range of sounds and images in a unified way that will allow a regular change of programme in whole or in part over specified periods. The technical equipment (video screens, speakers, server etc.) is part of the commission. The content will be developed by others but its production and presentation is part of this commission.The deadline for completed tender submissions is 12 noon 15 July 2013.COMMISSION TIMEFRAME Design and production: 22 July 2013 - 21 October 2013. Installation: by 29 November 2013Maintenance/rectification and management: December 2013 - end November 2014
