Descriptions
The boilers used on NGN sites are commercial boilers (similar to a domestic boiler, but with a larger capacity). The boilers installed between the mid 90’s to mid 2000’s were aluminium boilers with an aluminium heat exchanger internally. The main issue currently faced with these boilers is the heat exchanger. There are 10 sites which are obsolete with limited spares available, NGN identified the optimal work required to make the sites fit for purpose. None of the identified sites require a full re-build of the Pre-heating system, all will be a refurbishment of differing levels.
