Business Wales provides a first class business support service to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Wales on behalf of the Welsh Government, and is funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The service is delivered by Growth Partnership Wales, a partnership of Business in Focus, Antur Teifi and Serco Regional Service Ltd.Delivered by Serco Regional Services Ltd the Superfast Business Wales is a service element of Business Wales, which started in January 2016. It supports eligible businesses across Wales to understand, adopt and exploit the benefits of Superfast Broadband.The successful supplier will be required to work in partnership with the in-house SFBW marketing team to promote the Superfast Business Wales service to local businesses and partners from across Wales. All collateral needs to meet our brand guidelines (attached) and relevant to our target audience*, helping to drive people to our website and through our service.*Superfast Business Wales Demographic-SFBW supports Welsh small and medium sized businesses across 22 local authorities (fewer than 250 employees with less than 40m GBP turnover). To date 86% employ between 0-9 employees, 5% between 10-20 employees and 9% have 21+ employeesThe successful supplier will be required to deliver the following activities:-Work with the in-house marketing team to produce fit for purpose engaging and professional materials including:-Event flyers-Service overview literature-Postcards-Business cards-Pop-up banners-Images for print and digital-Stock imagery-PowerPoint templates-Business guides and workbooks-Advertorials-Multi-channel ads-Digital banners-Diagrams for inclusion in reports-Imagery for use in social media and emails-Logos-Website landing page designs-Social media ad designs-Develop branding ideas and approaches for new services-Videography/other digital resources-Lean on past experience of print and digital campaigns to inform creative ideas that capture the attention of and engage with Welsh SMEs-Ensure consistency of brand and messaging to increase awareness of SFBW and articulate the value of the service-Source and utilise stock images in addition to providing bespoke designs that help effectively position our services-Produce copy specific to the service, as required and proof-read copy to ensure accuracy of content-Manage multiple draft versions of materials, undertaking amendments and edits as required and maintaining a constant dialogue with the in-house marketing team-Provide a fast turnaround for delivery of printed materials-All content is required to be produced in both English and Welsh so the ability to translate Welsh would be an advantage, although we are able to provide translated copy if required-All publicity needs to adhere to the guidelines for European funded programmes and meet the branding guidelines for Business Wales (please see copy of brand guidelines attachedSupplier ProfileThe successful supplier will need to demonstrate:-A good understanding of how to communicate the value of the SFBW service and the benefits of technology for small and medium sized businesses in plain English-Experience of adhering to the branding and publicity guidelines for the Welsh Government, Business Wales and ERDF-A proven ability to meet fast design turnaround times, often within the hour or same day, and to deliver work at short notice and out of normal office hours, as required-A proven ability to meet fast print turnaround times-Robust systems and processes to manage version control particularly with bilingual materials-Able to demonstrate creativity and to deliver alternative solutions that still meet requirements-The ability to work with Serco to ensure the development of accurate briefs that meet requirements and a collaborative approach in partnering the SFBW in-house marketing team-Tight budget controls as well as the ability to work on a range of projects with a range of contacts in the team simultaneously managing workloads and meeting deadlinesContract AwardSerco Regional Services Ltd will contract with the successful Tenderer and it is anticipated that the contract will be awarded for the period March 2019 until December 2020, subject to regular performance reviewsThe indicative value for the services mentioned above will be GBP 18,000 for delivery of the content in this specification.The initial contract may be extended subject to successful performance, availability of funding and on basis that it will not infringe Serco Procurement requirementsThis activity is funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government.Quote ProcessInterested organisations are required to submit a response against the question set below.Name of Organisation:Q1.
