Bombora is seeking suppliers for the design, supply and installation of Fibre-Bragg Grating (FBG) sensors and associated equipment to the steel structure of a wave energy device for the measurement of strain on the mWave Wave Energy Converter Demonstrator project.The system will include:- FBG sensors (approx. 24) assembled into an array for fitting- Fibre optic sensor interrogator- Approx. 100m fibre optic cable terminated with drymate connector- Interface interrogator with data acquisition systemContract will be for design, supply, installation and calibration of all equipment supplied.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=95209.
