The City of Cardiff Council Harbour Authority will be replacing its aging principal inland surface marine debris collection vessel Harbour 1 in order to ensure that it is able to continue to undertake its statutory duties.Cardiff Harbour 1 currently removes approximate 750 tonnes of floating debris from the bay and rivers every year. This debris is currently scooped using a front mounted hydraulic mesh bucket with a load capability of 500 kg per scoop.The City of Cardiff Council wishes to appoint a contractor to design, build and supply a replacement debris collection vessel
