Design of Glamping Unit for Legendary Glamping Wales project
Descriptions
The design tender coincides with Visit Wales campaign to promote innovation, hospitality, landscape and the history of Wales at their best. This project is part funded by Welsh Government’s Tourism Product Innovation Fund.Applicants are expected to design a high quality, ‘self-contained’ glamping accommodation unit and the awarded designs will be developed to form a completely unique mobile hotel. The ‘pop-up’ hotel will appear in 3 different, unique and stunning locations in Wales, including a private beach and historic sites of significance.One of the project’s main objectives is to draw the world's attention to Wales’ wealth in terms of landscape, character and crucially, its legends as it will all take place during Visit Wales’ ‘Year of Legends’ . The settings will offer the wow factor and will represent south, mid and north Wales equally.
