We wish to appoint a suitably experienced organisation to provide and install café display counter/servery and furniture in the café at STORIEL as described by the information and schedule in this document.Storiel intends to be the destination for Art, Design and Craft retail in Bangor. The café will provide light meals/snacks; cakes, tea, coffee and soft drinks on a contemporary “tea room “ theme. It will emphasise the area’s Welsh character and will be using local produce where possible.Storiel is located in an adapted Grade II building. The café installations and furniture should reflect or complement this where possible.The café is adjacent to the main reception. There is space for approximately seven tables with chairs for approximately 28 customers.There will also be space to set out tables (approximately 5 ) and chairs on the adjoining external patio.The total cafe area measures approximately 56m x 41m for the tables and chairs with an additional approximately 13m2 allocated for the food provision area.Storiel aims to attract up to 25,000 visitors annually.Electrical and water supplies have been provided in the café but the tenderer will need to arrange the final connections.The person appointed to run the café will be responsible for providing an electronic cash register, crockery, cutlery and cleaning equipment.
