We wish to appoint a suitably experienced organisation or individual to design, procure and install shop display fittings in the shop at STORIEL as described by the information and plan accompanying this document.The shop intends to be the destination for gifts in Bangor. Supplying handcrafted high quality items of jewellery, ceramics and other handmade gifts and souvenirs. Customers will be able to find gifts, cards and wrapping produced by artists, designers and craft workers. There will be a broad choice with gifts and prices ranging from £1 to £1,000 and earrings to items of furniture. Customers should be able to interact with the goods and the shop should provide wall and “plinth” space to showcase jewellery, ceramics, homeware , prints, cards, books and magazines.The merchandise will generally fall into the following product categories:•Storiel exclusive products•Local craft products•General relevant gifts ( with emphasis on design led products )•Ceramics and glass•Stationary•Greetings cards•Exhibition catalogues, guide books, postcards and other publications•Books and local publications•Children’s books•Jewellery•Souvenir and branded items eg. notelets•Items for school parties eg low cost items such as pencils, biros, toysAn approximate allocation of space for specific items is as follows :•STORIEL exclusive products, local craft products, general relevant gifts, souvenirs and branded products 25%•Ceramics and glass 20%•Stationary, greetings cards20%•Books 15%•Jewellery 15%•Homewares 5%
