Descriptions
The purpose of this commission is for a Consultant to provide appropriate tunnelling geologist, structural engineering and hydrologist support to carry out a Detailed Baseline Inspection and Assessment of the Queensway Tunnel loop heading and provide a detailed report to Principal Inspection standards in order to determine the current condition of the loop heading, identifying any testing and intrusive investigations that may be necessary and detailing any remedial works required and providing commentary on the validity of the recommendations made in 2014 (given the time that has elapsed since the previous inspection).
