Ceredigion County Council require a 3D mobile bed physical modelling study to be undertaken to assist in the detailed design of coastal defence structures planned for the coastal town of Borth, Aberystwyth, Wales, in order to determine the general arrangement of works for the Borth to Ynyslas Coastal Defence Scheme, including the examination of beach behaviour and layouts for control structures associated with beach recharge to best meet the specific objectives of the scheme. Full details of the contract scope will be given in the Tender Documents.The modelling work is expected to start in early February 2010 and must be completed within 3 months.
