Detoxification and / or Residential Rehabilitation Services for Substance Misuse (drug and alcohol)

Portsmouth City Council (the Council) has established a multi-provider framework agreement for the provision of substance misuse related in-patient / residential detoxification and / or residential rehabilitation placements. The framework agreement will run for a term of four years.Residential detoxification and residential rehabilitation placements contribute to Safer Portsmouth Partnership's mission to reduce drug and alcohol related offending, anti-social behaviour and the impact of substance misuse on children, the family and the wider community. The Council aims to commission the best possible treatment and support for problematic drug and alcohol adult users in order to improve their health and well-being and enable social re-integration.The Framework will be split into the following four Lots:— Lot 1: Medically assisted detoxification as a day/home based patient.— Lot 2: Residential medically assisted detoxification (stand-alone).— Lot 3: Residential medically assisted detoxification from alcohol and/or opiates and/or benzodiazepines (as part of a longer rehabilitation programme).— Lot 4: Residential rehabilitation (Stages 1 – 3).Additionally, under the broad headings of the above Lots, there are a variety of sub-lots and options related to specific programme types and user requirements.
