Note: This contract has now been awarded.The current light fittings used in the Debating Chamber of the Scottish Parliament are no longer manufactured. A programme for replacement has been put in place by Facilities Management Office to source a technically competent manufacturer to develop a prototype fitting and, if testing is successful, supply the required fittings.Once tendered costs are known there will be a recommendation for the SPCB to approve a contract with a manufacturer. Prior to this approval, no expenditure will be incurred.
