Building upon the success of the CRT and the step up : down beds, Wrexham ASC and BCUHB are seeking to expand support for people who have nursing needs and who have been assessed as medically stable and no longer require a hospital setting to meet their remaining care needs. The key way the partnership hope to achieve this is through the development of a single Discharge 2 Assess/ step up : down facility which will provide a therapeutic environment for ongoing assessment.We are keen to hear from the market (residential and nursing care providers as well as RSLs and developers) with options for the potential development of such a facility, in order to help shape the development of the model.
