Development of New Learning Coach Training Units

This contract is part of the Reach the Heights - Routes to the Summit project, a European Social Fund Project led by the Welsh Assembly Government. The contract is for the development of new training units, to enhance the Welsh Assembly Government supported National Learning Coach Training Programme, which provides training for those delivering the learning coach function. Learning Coaching is one of the six key elements of 14-19 Learning Pathways. Further information is available at http://wales.gov.uk/topics/educationandskills/learningproviders/learningpathways1419/?lang=enThe Development of training units at Level 3 and Level 4 to enhance the Welsh Assembly Government’s National Learning Coach Training ProgrammeThe successful contractor will be required to develop new learning coach training units at Level 3 and Level 4 and locate them within the Welsh Assembly Government’s Credit and Qualification Framework for Wales (CQFW). These units must be developed to compliment the current Welsh Assembly Government’s National Learning Coach Training Programme and the associated accreditation framework. The duration of this contract will be 6 months. The successful contractor will be required to consult with stakeholders in order to identify possible units. The final list of units will need to be agreed by the Assembly Government before they are developed by the contractor.
