Development of non statutory guidance on elective home education
Descriptions
The Welsh Government requires new non-statutory guidance for local authorities on home education.The main aim of the guidance is to assist local authorities in supporting, and developing constructive relationships with, their home educating families. The client requires an experienced consultant who has worked in the field of education for statutory school-aged children, with a track record of drafting guidance of a similar nature and engaging with a range of stakeholders.The key requirements of the contract are to review existing guidance/policies/procedures of local authorities and engage with stakeholders to inform the development of the guidance; and draft bilingual guidance for public consultation by the Welsh Government in May 2015.The Welsh Assembly Government, on behalf of the Welsh Ministers, will be conducting this procurement exercise through the etenderwales portal https://etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk.
