Amgueddfa Cymru and its partners wishe to appoint an organisation to develop a series of html widgets to allow the display of People's Collection Wales (PCW) objects (items, collections, trails, stories) within 3rd party websites, and to develop a solution to enable the easy creation of PCW affiliated microsites – websites that can be created by the PCW partnership, but hosted and/or managed by 3rd parties, and that have a focus on a particular topic but draw upon content held within the technical infrastructure of the PCW.Casgliad y Werin Cymru – People’s Collection Wales is a website dedicated to the story of Wales and its people. The website is full of fascinating photographs, sound recordings, documents, videos and stories about the history and heritage of Wales and its people. The website represents an innovative approach to collecting, interpreting, distributing and discussing Wales’ cultural heritage in an online environment.People’s Collection Wales is led by Wales’s national heritage institutions Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales, the National Library of Wales and the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historic Monuments of Wales. A federated partnership exists between the three organisations each of which is leading on a different aspect of People’s Collection Wales.
