The MVP is a group of birthing people and their families, commissioners, and maternity staff (list is not exhaustive) collaborating to review and co-produce local maternity care. An adequately resourced, well-functioning MVP supports this work to fulfil the statutory obligations of Public and Patient participation by the CCG. This procurement has been carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner(s).
