The Welsh Ministers is seeking interest from contractors to prequalify for inclusion within a select list to beinvited to tender for works for refurbishment and fit out works of 11 Devon Place, Newport, currently occupied by Seren, part of the Charter Housing Group.Seren Housing will be vacating the property and the Welsh Government are looking to create a new business and training facility capable of multiple occupation by IT and technology companies. The long term proposal of the development is to refurbish all 3 floors; the first phase of the scheme is to refurbish the Ground Floor to provide training facilities, meeting rooms and offices for start up companies. The second phase is to refurbish & fit out the 1st and 2nd floors of the building. The design and specification of the upper floors will be clarified during the first phase of the works.The Welsh Government will be conducting the PPQ element of this procurement exercise through the etenderwales portal https://etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk .
