Dewsbury Bus Station Ground Surveys

West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) are making improvements to Dewsbury Bus Station. This includes internal and external upgrades to the facilities, a replacement roof for the main concourse, a new frame, roof and steel canopy for the corridor structure in the east of the site and, subject to further surveys, either a new structure or strengthening of the existing frame for the retail units. To allow the development and validation of design, surveys covering drainage assessments, structural investigations to the built environment, Geotechnical investigations of soil structure and the underlying strata including groundwater and contamination are all required to be undertaken. WYCA are seeking bidders to undertake these intrusive survey investigations.
