Outline Requirements - Diaspora support for the Welsh Government’s Trade and Inward Investment Programmes - May 2020The Welsh Government is seeking to build an international business diaspora network to support its inward investment ambitions and trade programme. The purpose of building a diaspora network is to support the growing of the Welsh economy and to increase Wales’s international profile, in particular where Wales has world-class capabilities. We would like to secure the services of a company that will build a diaspora network that will:-Introduce companies that have new inward investment opportunities, focusing on the sectors where Wales is a world leader i.e. Compound Semi-Conductors; Cyber Security; Regenerative Medicine; Fintech; Renewables/Marine Energy/Sustainability, and advanced manufacturing in automotive and aerospace;- Making introductions to relevant clusters, academic institutions and other influential stakeholders;- Contributing to guest lists for/on Trade Mission events;- Introducing potential collaborators to companies participating in trade missions;- Mentoring Welsh companies which are seeking to trade with markets where they have expertise.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=101871.
