Digital Equipment Oct 2018 - Living Levels Partnership
Descriptions
Despite the profusion of wildlife that inhabit the nature reserve, we often hear visitors remarking that they ‘had a lovely walk, but didn’t see anything.’ Many of our star species, such as the Cetti’s warbler, bittern and bearded tit, are secretive birds that live amongst the dense tangle of reeds in the reedbeds. As the reserve is also very flat, it is hard to get a view over the reedbeds, to be able to catch a glimpse of birds as they move around to feed. The aim of this project is to have a range of portable and fixed digital equipment to reveal the abundance and diversity of wildlife here on the reserve. We would like some of the equipment to include an interactive system which allows members of the public to control cameras and switch between different views, and provides options to view live streaming or pre-recorded footage. We would also like some portable and fixed screens to use with the equipment.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=86393.
