Descriptions

The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS) wishes to procure a contract for a Digital Preservation Repository system which meets international standards including the OAIS reference model and ISO 16363 and the provision of implementation and post-implementation support services.The solution must support the long term availability, integrity, reliability and usability of the data. It must be scalable, flexible and extensible, allowing further preservation solutions to be added over time, and therefore requires a modular design with loosely-coupled components.
