Digital Resources to Support Registration of the Social Care Workforce

Social Care Wales maintains the Register of Social Care Workers (the Register) in Wales. Around 12,000 people are currently on the Register. They include social workers, residential child care managers and workers, adult care home managers, social work students and domiciliary care managers. Welsh Government have the power to extend the register to other groups of social care workers, which we anticipate will happen in the coming years.We want to develop a suite of digital resources that will help people understand what registration is, its benefits, who can register and how to go about registration.
