Direct Payment Services in the Counties of Conwy and Denbighshire.
Descriptions
Conwy County Borough Council and Denbighshire County Council both operate a Direct Payments Scheme. The Contracts with the current provider expire on the 31st March 2011. Conwy and Denbighshire wish to jointly tender for a support organisation to make available advice, informaiton, support, a payroll service, training and assistance to Direct Payments receipients in both counties. The sucessful support organisation will be able to work with the two Social Services Departments to continue to develop an efficient and user focused Direct Payments scheme.It is anticipated that there would be a rolling caseload of 75 service users in Conwy and 50 in Denbighshire. These people would require medium to high levels of suuport.The planned start date is 1st April 2011 and the Contract with each authority will be awarded for a duration of 3 years.Expressions of interest by formal request to be made to Lynne Vincent, Contracts Officer, Conwy County Borough Council, Town Hall, Lloyd Street, Llandudno. Applications will be short listed to the 2nd Stage, "Invitation to Tender" based on quality evaluation to include the following: Work history and previous experience, quality of personnel/competency of staff, management of services and financial appraisal. The closing date for completed submissions of the PQQ is 12 noon on Monday 16th August 2010
