Dorset Care Framework for People with Learning Disabilities

Dorset County Council (Dorset Council wef 1.4.2019) and NHS Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group are developing a new Framework under Schedule 3 — light touch to provide high quality care and support interventions for people with learning disabilities in the community. The commissioning partners are committed to delivering high quality services and outcomes, whilst working within decreasing budgets.The aims are to deliver key outcomes in adult social care which are statutory responsibilities under the Care Act 2014:1) Deliver good health and care — affordable, flexible and accessible;2) Promoting independence — helping people to help themselves;3) Enhance well-being for local communities.The framework will replace the DPS for learning disabilities which has been in operation since 1.6.2016. Not all lots are released at this time as they are provisional pending decisions by the Council.These lots are marked as early provider information.
