Descriptions

As part of the final stages of the large-scale Dover Western Docks Revival (DWDR) project, in the Port of Dover, we wish to carry out site clearance works of the existing pontoons and restraint piles, decommission two sets of lock gates and a Swingbridge and carry out reclamation works to infill the old Granville Dock, Tidal Basin, and Wick Channel. To contain the reclamation material, approx. 1,000,000m3, we also need to construct two quay walls totalling approx. 130m in linear length.Other ancillary works include extension of existing storm water and foul water drainage networks and rationalisation of existing HV, LV and data networks to provide services for future development on top of the approx. 10 hectares of newly created Port land.
