NHS England are the Contracting Authority (hereafter referred to as “the Authority”) for this procurement.These service contracts are split into 40 lots. Please see the previous contract opportunity notice 2018/S 088-197728 for detailed description of each of the 40 lots.The duration of contracts awarded is seven (7) years followed by an optional three (3) years' extension period.For the purposes of this notice, the contract award date has been shown as 5.3.2019 which is the date on which the results of the procurement and intention to award notices were sent to the bidders.Where incumbent providers have been successful in securing new contracts of comparable size to their existing contracts, and where practical, the commissioner will work with those providers to mobilise these contracts more expeditiously. This is because it is expected that in such cases a long mobilisation period would not be required.
