Drama Workshops for Year 7 & Year 8 Pupils in Mainstream Secondary Schools in North Wales

The North Wales Safeguarding Board (‘the Board’) is seeking to commission a learning / drama company to deliver a programme of drama workshops (each of circa 1/2 hour duration) over a three year period (commencing in the autumn term of the 2018 / 19 academic year) to Year 7 and Year 8 pupils in mainstream secondary schools in North Wales around promoting learning for school pupils around the risks of ‘Child Criminal Exploitation’ and ‘Child Sexual Exploitation’ with a particular emphasis on the issue of ‘County Lines’.The Board is seeking to appoint a single provider that will manage and deliver the overall programme of drama workshops.The programme of drama workshops will be delivered in the individual school locations across North Wales.NOTE:1) Eligible schools have the option to participate in the programme of drama workshops and are under no obligation to do so.2) The Board cannot guarantee that all eligible schools will take up the offer or guarantee a minimum number of the schools being involved.3) It is anticipated that participating schools would prefer the option of a single learning / drama workshop being delivered to a combined audience of Year 7 and Year 8 pupils (i.e. rather than two separate learning / drama workshops delivered to individual year groups), although this cannot be guaranteed and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
