DSP - High Resolution Optical Spectrum Analyser

Descriptions

Bangor University’s Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Centre of Excellence, based at the University’s science park (M-SParc) is a £6M research centre undertaking highly specialised research into the application of DSP in digital communication systems such as 5G networks and ecosystems. The DSP Centre has received ~£4M in funding support from the Welsh European Funding Office (WEFO). The DSP Centre requires high resolution optical spectrum analyser to observe the optical signal spectrum with high resolution to allow frequency domain analysis of signal quality. It will also be used to precisely adjust the optical communication system such as optical filter tuning, wavelength tuning, etc.
