Dumfries and Galloway European Social Fund Stage 1 and 2 Provision.

ESIF has been secured to support Dumfries and Galloway's Employability Pipeline Strategic Intervention. This intervention will support unemployed and inactive participants with multiple barriers to employment living in the Dumfries and Galloway Local Authority Area, to gain qualifications and skills in order to progress to sustainable employment or self-employment. Provision would be to deliver tailored solutions to removing barriers by providing specific training opportunities for unemployed and inactive individuals, who also have at least 2 barriers to employment as defined in the ESIF Participant Eligibility Guidance.Dumfries and Galloway Council has secured ESF funding and has an allocation of up to 393 750 GBP in total project costs to procure services until 31.12.2018. ESF will fund 40 % of the total costs (totalling 157 000 GBP) and Service Providers will be required to identify eligible match (totalling 236 500 GBP) to fund the gap of 60 % of the total project costs.
