Durham County Council is seeking bids for services Durham Cathedral Bus Service.One service will run until 25.10.2014 there is no option to extend. The second will run until 30.7.2016 with an option to extend for up to 3.5 years. The requirements are operated by 3 electric Optare Solo vehicles, with the opertaor offering conventional diesel backup vehicles similar in size and capacity of the slim line solo vehicles supplied. The service will operate a full daytime Monday to Saturday timetable.
