The purpose of this contract is to provide e-training across the Taith i Waith participant groups to facilitate access to e-trading methods. Theses processes will form part of a fixed term module where service participants can demonstrate and document continuous improvement, progress and activity: 2.1 The training to be provided in a location based on contractor’s facility and also to provide an outreach training facility to engage with the maximum possible number of service participant’s .The contractor will specify how this will be achieved.2.2 The Service Provider to provide all relevant hardware and software and to ensure the use of safe IT systems. Ensure systems are in place to block inappropriate IT use.2.3 The Service Provider will be required to structure the contract into set modules. These modules will include, a basic introduction to computers module, modules based on achieving OCN qualification, modules aimed to specific service participant group’s e.g. older people. Also a set module which utilise IT, to teach basic skills in a non stigmatised manner. One module to include job search and CV preparation.2.4The modules will be required to be documented in accordance with the Taith i Waith module template and will comprise part of the module portfolio available to clients.2.5The Service Provider should be aware that the service participant base will include some difficult and aggressive individuals; Service Providers will need to detail H&S measures in relation to this facet.2.6As detailed previously Service Providers will need to specify their preferred locations and will also need to specify the numbers of service participants who can be taught within any given teaching location.2.7The Service Provider must specify any previous experiences of dealing with the Service Participant base listed above.2.8As this program is ESF funded, Service Providers must ensure that there is no issue of duplication of funding, with regard to other EU funded programs.2.9The Service Provider will be required to detail the staff time allocated to the project, and to include in the tender, documents and the CV,s of any staff working on the program.2.10All staff working on this program must pass CRB checks.2.11The Service Provider must allocate a named individual who will attend the monthly Taith i Waith development board meetings, this individual to report on the contract progress and any problems encountered.2.12As part of the Taith i Waith strategy of ensuring that service participants engage in economic activity, the Service Provider must ensure that a set module exists which involves trading on the internet . 2.13Involve other organisation’s trading activities. This is to allow Service User participant’s to see a practical use to what they have been taught.
