East Lancashire's Levelling Up Fund (LUF)
Descriptions
Lancashire County Council has been awarded a Levelling Up Fund (LUF) for various schemes and projects to support economic growth and job creation in East Lancashire as well as improving the health of Lancashire residents. The LUF programme will cover various schemes including themed interventions in East Lancashire focussing on safer, greener, healthier streets, and accessible and vibrant town centres. The four districts of East Lancashire to benefit from the programme of work include Burnley, Hyndburn, Rossendale and Pendle. It is proposed that the tender will be split into 4 Lots based on these geographical areas. The estimated value of the works is £25m split across the 4 Lots.
