This opportunity is for Easter Holiday (2024) Activities with Healthy Food for Children in Receipt of Benefits-related Free School Meals.r r The Council wishes to engage with multiple Providers that can undertake the following in the Easter holidays 2024.r r This project is to be funded by The Department for Education however the Council is still awaiting confirmation for 2024 therefore this opportunity is subject to receiving DfE grant confirmation.r r All providers will need to meet DfE framework of standards as below:r •Food Provisionr •Enrichment Activitiesr •Physical Activitiesr •Increasing Awareness of Healthy Eating, healthy lifestyles, and positive behavioursr •Signposting and referrals and supporting familiesr •Safeguardingr •Policies and Proceduresr r Please note, sessions do not need to be exclusively for children in receipt benefits-related Free School Meals, however the DfE funded element of Fun and Food will only fund children in receipt of benefits-related Free School Meals. Alternative funding may be sourced by the organisation to fund children ineligible for DfE funding or parents/carers may be charged for sessions by the activity organisation.r
