Descriptions
The Authority have appointed Contractor(s) to the Framework Agreement for Waste Management Services covering universities and Colleges throughout Scotland. EFM1022 — AP Waste Management Services is a tailored Framework Agreement for all institutions in Scotland to provide essential Waste Management Services and solutions for institutions covering waste awareness and segregation programmes, waste collection, uplift and disposal treatment which are compliant with current and future legislation. Due to the different nature of waste and materials, the Framework Agreement is split into multiple lots covering the various geographical areas and the different Materials and Waste Stream Schedules capturing different types of waste and materials from Non-special Waste and Materials to specialised waste and materials.It is the intention of the Scottish HE/FE sector to reduce overall waste volumes and to support initiatives led by Zero Waste Scotland, avoiding disposal to landfill.
