Descriptions
The Authority is seeking Contractor(s) for Waste Management Services for all HE/FE institutions in Scotland. EFM1022 — AP Waste Management Services is a tailored Framework Agreement for all institutions in Scotland to provide essential Waste Management Services and solutions for institutions covering waste awareness and segregation programmes, waste collection, uplift and disposal treatment which are compliant with current and future legislation. Due to the different nature of waste, the Framework Agreement is split into multiple lots covering the various geographical areas and the different Materials & Waste Stream Schedules capturing different types of waste and materials from Non-special Waste & Materials to specialised waste and materials.It is the intention of the Scottish HE/FE sector to reduce overall waste volumes and to support initiatives led by Zero Waste Scotland, avoiding disposal to landfill.NOTE: The buyer is using PCS-Tender to carry out this procurement process.
