EHRC 1718-77 Monitoring of key sectors performance against the Public Sector Equality Duty

The Commission now seeks to engage the services of a suitably qualified provider to gather and analyse evidence of the work undertaken across key sectors to meet the requirements of the PSED legislation. This project aims to: •Gather evidence from all listed bodies on their work in specific areas to comply with the general duty. •Provide good practice examples of the work undertaken by each organisation •Highlight where the most impact has been achieved - where real outcomes have improved people's lives •Draw together conclusions on progress within the sectors on the specific areas •Provide recommendations on how further progress can be achieved. The monitoring will specifically focus on the following areas: •Local Authorities - action taken to address identity based bullying in schools. •Health Boards/Trusts - access to mental health services by people from different protected characteristics •Universities - action taken to tackle identity based violence, as well as work to tackle the gender, disability and ethnicity pay gaps •Further Education Colleges - how colleges are promoting diversity within apprenticeship schemes •Fire and Rescue Services - workforce diversity and access to information •Welsh Government - increasing diversity of public appointments •Other listed bodies including Assembly Sponsored Public Bodies - work in relation to the recruitment and employment of disabled people and procurement Please register the Commission's procurement portal for the full tender pack: https://procontract.due-north.com/Register
