Fareham Borough Council led a collaborative OJEU tender in 2012 to establish a single contractor to provide lift maintenance, repair and overhaul services across the Hants and IOW (HIOW) geographical region. Following a successful contract term the extant arrangement expires in December 2019, the Council is leading a new tender exercise on behalf of those participating Authorities within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to establish a successive single provider contract for the next 3 years (plus any optional extension period).The requirement is to establish a planned maintenance regime for the passenger and goods lift services within the portfolio of council owned assets.
