It is expected that the supplier will fund most of the works and provide a revenue share back to the customer. Government Grants (namely On-street Charging Scheme) could be applied for as part of the project and other external funding may be provided by project partners. Following the Governments pledge to cut carbon emissions by 80 % by 2050, the sale of new petrol and diesel cars will be banned by 2035. This framework agreement will assist regional public sector organisations in being prepared for the increase in demand for charging points.
