Descriptions
There is a statutory obligation on all Councils to make arrangements to collect and recycle or process and dispose of waste from households and civic amenity sites. West Dunbartonshire Council require a competent service provider with the availability and access to a ‘Tip Site’ in the form of transfer station, bulking facility or material recycling facility within a reasonable and practicable travel distance to carry out the processing, treatment and disposal of residual waste at kerbside bin collections and residual bulky waste at civic amenity sites and bulky uplifts This emergency contract where possible will support the Council to meet its statutory recycling targets outlined by the Scottish Government.
